Greek For ERASMUS

Every year the HeLaS implements the Greek Language Learning Program for students of the ERASMUS that is addressed to ERASMUS students of the University of Ioannina who are interested in learning the Greek Language.

Duration of the Program

Winter & Spring semester (according to the academic calendar)

Teaching hours
9.00 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Monday
3 hours/week

Registrations 1^1st September - 30 September

Applications beyond the course start date are consedered on a case - by- case basis

A1

(Other levels are covered on occasion)

Greek For ERASMUS

1 Certificate of attendance

At the end of the Program a Certificate of Attendance with 5 ECTS is provided to the students who have attended 80% of the Program and have successfully participated in the final exam.

(The course can be a part of the Learning Agreement. In that case the Certificate of Attendance is not provided by the Center).

2 Greek Language Certification

The Center for the Study of the Hellenic Language and Culture of the University of Ioannina is an official Examination Center of the Centre for the Greek Language of Thessaloniki and students have the option to participate in the Greek Language exams held in May.

Tuition Fees

Greek language courses are free

50 euros for educational material and administrative costs
