Winter Program
Every year the HeLaS implements a Winter Program for learning the Greek Language, that is addressed to those interested in learning the Greek Language and Culture and live in the area of Ioannina.
Duration of the Program
October - May
Teaching hours
9.00 a.m. - 12.30 p.m.
Monday to Wednesday
4 hours/day
12 hours/week
Registrations 11st September - 30 September
Applications beyond the course start date are consedered on a case - by- case basis

A1-A2-B1-B2-C1-C2
As long as a minimum number of participants is reached at each level

Certificate of attendance
At the end of the Program a Certificate of Attendance is provided to the students who have attended 70% of the Program and have succesfully participated in the final exam.

Greek Language Certification
The Center for the Study of the Hellenic Language and Culture of the University of Ioannina is an official Examination Center of the Centre for the Greek Language of Thessaloniki and students have the option to participate in the Greek Language exams held in May.
Tuition Fees
1050 euros
-
1st instalment: 250 euros (the amount is paid upon registration to the program)
2nd instalment: 400 euros (the amount is paid until November 30th)
3rd instalment: 400 euros (the amount is paid until January 31st)
The amounts are not refundable in case of interruption or cancellation of participation in the program.
The amount includes Greek Language course, educational material, issuance of a student card and the option to dine at the student restaurant.
* Participants in the program have the option to stay, for a special fee, at the Student Residence Hall of the DIKEPPEE "Stavros Niarchos".
